Pakistani singer Atif Aslam,30, got married to his educationist girlfriend of seven years, Sara Bharwana, in Lahore on Thursday. News spread after pictures of the couple’s mehendi ceremony made their way online, and microblogging site Twitter was immediately flooded with heartbreak tweets from Aslam’s fans.

‘Damn! These girls wud make u believe that Atif Aslam getting married is a national female catastrophe,’ tweeted @hzohaib. ‘Must not check Twitter today to avoid the ‘OMG! Atif Aslam got married :( :'(' tweeted ,’ @sairmir. Atif informed his fans about the wedding on his FaceBook page. “I am delighted to let all of you know that…… Her insan ka zindagi main aik na aik din WIYAAAH hona hota hayyy ,,, and my Big day has finally arrived with your prayers (sic),” he wrote.

Atif has sung various songs in Bollywood movies—Pehli Nazar Mein (Race), Tu Jaane Na (Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani), Woh Lamhe (Zeher). He debuted as an actor in 2011 with the acclaimed Pakistani film, Bol.

Rihanna planning a wild yacht party with Chris Brown?

R&B star Rihanna is reportedly organising a two-week cruise of the Mediterranean with boyfriend Chris Brown. The Umbrella hitmaker is said to relive the mayhem of last summer's on the Latitude yacht with Brown for the ride to join the wild party, reported Sun online. "She has warned Latitude (Latitude Benetti yacht) crew to prepare themselves for the party of the century and requested them to install a stripper pole.

"They're telling friends that it's going to be a wild party. It will be a day long party. It's going to be absolute mayhem. The crew is going to have to sleep in shifts," a source said.

Rihanna, 24, had spent last summer on the USD 250,000-a-week, 34 ft Latitude Benetti yacht, which included accommodation for up to 12 people, two dressing rooms, massage and beauty salons and five decks for sunbathing and dining.

'Sick' Curiosity is now fit & fine

Curiosity is now fully operational  following its recovery from a computer glitch, Nasa said on Tuesday. According to the space agency's latest announcement, the nearly one tonne rover has resumed full science investigations. The rover has been monitoring the weather since March 21 and delivered a new portion of powdered-rock sample for laboratory  analysis on March 23, among other activities.

"We are back to full science operations," Curiosity deputy project manager Jim Erickson of Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California, said. The powder delivered on Saturday came from the rover's first full drilling into a rock to collect a sample. The new portion went into the Sample Analysis at Mars(SAM) instrument inside the rover, which began analyzing this material and had previously analyzed other portions from the same drilling.

Naomi Watts says no to botox

Naomi Watts has revealed that she wants to age gracefully as she is afraid that plastic surgery will make her look 'freakish' and ruin her ability to show emotion on screen. 

The 44-year-old actress has no interest in participating in Hollywood's Botox trend because she believes that actresses with wrinkles land the best roles, Contactmusic reported.

The 21 Grams star told Good Health magazine that she does not judge anyone who does it, but most of the characters she play are going through some kind of emotional turmoil, so her job requires her to have expression and if her face was frozen, then what right does she have to play the part.


Watts explained that all the women who haven't done anything to their faces are still able to play great roles and some of the ones who have done something have messed it up because they end up looking weird.

The mum-of-two, who tries to keep her body looking youthful naturally by doing Pilates, dance cardio among other sports, further added that for her it's about playing women with rich lives and the longer the life, the deeper the wrinkles.

Prince Harry to party with Hollywood's sexiest women during US trip

Prince Harry is all set to party with some of Hollywood's hottest leading ladies on a trip to the US in May.

The fun-loving royal, whose last jaunt across the pond ended in shame in Las Vegas, will encounter a bevy of beauties when he is welcomed to New York by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Mirror reported.

Harry's staff has sent out invites to Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, High School Musical sweetheart Vanessa Hudgens, actress Scarlett Johansson, and at least a dozen other sexy stars.

The 28-year-old royal will be welcomed to the Big Apple at a lavish City Hall reception by a blonde swimsuit model Kate Upton, 20, who once said that the dashing prince is too cute for words.

A source close to one of those invited told the Daily Star that the party for Harry is the talk of Tinseltown and is being viewed as the hottest event of the year.

Harry will carry out royal duties on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to boost British trade after he hits the city for a formal, rather than a private visit.

Sources have revealed to the publication that the trip will also include a polo match to support a children?s charity he co-founded.

Other engagements are also expected to reflect his personal interests, including charities involving war veterans and educational and development projects aimed at helping urban youths.

Brad Pitt buys $5mn luxury boat

Brad Pitt has purchased a luxury yacht worth 5 million pounds for his family. The actor, who has six children with actress Angelina Jolie, bought the boat after selling a share of his French vineyard at Chateau Miraval to winemaker Marc Perrin. 

The 49-year-old actor's friend Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder, told him he could offset the cost of buying the 75ft schooner by chartering it out to the well-heeled when he was away filming, the Sun reported. A source said Pitt always wanted a classic sail yacht and this one is perfect for his as it sleeps eight but you can have more on board if you are just going out for a day.

The source added that the 'Thelma n Louise' actor loved the idea of taking the kids out around the islands along the coast of the South of France near St Tropez.
